What is sound healing?
Sound healing has been practised for thousands of years to realign the body's vibration, improve mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Our body supports an underlying energy field which influences our physical, mental and emotional states; if we change the energy field, we can positively change the resulting behaviours.
When parts of our bodies are out of sync, we can get out of alignment, which leads to stress, tension and ‘dis-ease’ within us. Because sound expresses as a vibration, it carries frequencies right into our cells, restoring our body’s resonance.
This ultimately rebalances our health, bringing harmony to our mind, body & spirit.
Soft vibrations, deeper breath, and a quieter mind.
Sound healing invites the body to soften, reset, and return to a calmer state.
What to expect:
Come into the space and choose a mat with a blanket. I'll give an overview of the benefits of sound and how the frequencies resonate with our bodies on a cellular level.
If we're having cacao, we'll set an intention with our warm, heart-opening plant medicine before sipping it together.
I'll invite everyone to get as comfortable as possible on their mat, lie back and ground into the space with some deep breaths.
Everyone can now relax and allow the sounds to wash over them, letting go completely. The entire journey takes about an hour as I'll play a variety of instruments and introduce sounds gently. The crystal bowls and standing gong are generally the stars of the show as they induce deep relaxation.
Once I've finished the session, I'll gently bring everyone back into the room, inviting them to slowly sit up in their own time.

HOW LONG IS THE SESSION?
The entire session takes about an hour, including the explanation, grounding into the space and bringing attendees back into the room gently at the end.
HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER?
People experience different things after a session – you may feel very tired, or energised, or very relaxed, or you may even feel things physically in your body. I suggest enjoying a session when you don't have much on afterwards, drinking plenty of water and getting a good nights' sleep.
About me
I trained to become a Sound Healing Practitioner through the School of Natural Shamanism with the wonderful Hoppi Wimbush.
The year-long course began in September 2024, where we have learnt a series of instruments (tuning forks, Himalayan bowls, gong, shruti box, crystal bowls, to name a few…) and then facilitate sessions in a 1:1 setting as well as in group sound baths.
Enjoy the benefits and relaxation of sound.
